Nomingobi oil exploration project and coalbed methanes (CBM) projects based on our coal assets
"Goviin Garts" company runs oil exploration, geological and geophysical prospecting, and mapping services applying methods based on modern advanced technology. Our oil and natural gas project Nomingobi covers an area of 12,000 square kilometers in the Altai and Bugat soum of Govi - Altai aimag and has spanned the stage of concluding a production sharing agreement with the Government of Mongolia. The Nomingobi prospecting area locates along the Mongolia–China border, including the Burgastai-Liaoyemao border crossing point. Besides exploring the conventional core, such as oil in the Nomingobi oil field, we are conducting CBM (coalbed methane gas) exploration on other coal deposits and mines owned by Cosmo Group.
